Brief Summary: IWar Horse is about a fictional young soldier called Thomas "Tommo" Peaceful, who is looking back on his life so far and his going to war. The story focuses on the harsh realities of English rural life and warfare, and highlights the British Army's practice of executing its own soldiers during the First World War.

How It Was: This was a very sad book but a good read. I loved reading this book as it is based on a true story about the War and it tells you the how to war was and gives really good description about the war and everything.

Conclusion: The end of “Private Peaceful” is sad because Charlie is executed for standing up for his brother. He was shot for cowardice even though he was actually being brave by standing up to authority again.
