Brief Conclusion: Tom runs for the school council and TRIES to be top of the class. As per usual things don’t quite go according to plan... hes doesn't get into the school council because he has three sad faces on the school achievement chart. If he gets another sad face, Mr. Fullerman won't let him go on the school trip.
How It Was: I really enjoyed reading this book, as it was very funny and also very interesting to read. I would reccomend this to anyone who likes funnt humorous books.
Conclusion: Tom Gates, the lovable and slightly chaotic school-aged boy, is back in his ninth book, "Top of the Class (nearly)" by Liz Pichon. This time, Tom is determined to become the top of his class, but his usual antics and distractions keep getting in the way. From hilarious drawings of his teachers to avoiding the class bully, Tom's journey to academic success is filled with laughter and mishaps. With his signature humor and illustrations, Liz Pichon once again captures the essence of childhood and school life, making this book a delightful read for young readers.
