BOOK REVIEW - The Meltdown
Author: Jeff Kinney
Rating: ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⚫️ ⚫️
Brief Summary: Rival groups fight over territory, build massive snow forts, and stage epic snowball fights. And in the crosshairs are Greg and his trusty best friend, Rowley Jefferson. It's a fight for survival as Greg and Rowley navigate alliances, betrayals, and warring gangs in a neighborhood meltdown.
How It Was: The Meltdown was okay, it didn't particularily stand out to me and didn't impress me much. I lost interest in the book at about half way. However, this shouldn't stop you from reading it as you may like it!
Conclusion: Greg and Rowley find themselves caught in the middle of an all-out neighborhood snowball war. After a series of escalating battles, the conflict reaches its climax when a massive snowplow accidentally barrels through the middle of the fight, forcing everyone to call a truce. The book ends with Greg reflecting on his survival skills and the chaotic nature of the event
